Graduated as Chemical Engineer from Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany, in 1999 with majors in Textile Chemistry and Finishing Technology.
Started in a British-American nonwoven manufacturer as product development engineer but already joined Clariant end of 2000 as application expert for Fibre Finishing in Frankfurt-Höchst, Germany. Since 2004 focussed on segment Technical Textiles and from end of 2005 located near Basel in Reinach, Switzerland, as part of the global Finishing team, supporting application and product development projects in various end use segments and countries.
Key responsibility for global technical marketing and business development of Flame retardants, Antimicrobial and Repellent Finishing as well as Coating portfolio in different key markets.
After uniting Archroma and Huntsman Textile Effects in March this year, responsible for global market and technical segment management for Technical Textiles.
