The Southern Textile Research Conference (STRC) is coming soon! The STRC will be held at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach on May 17-19, 2026.
This year’s theme is “Integrating Materials, Machines, and Intelligence in Textiles”. Nathan Fisher, President of the Southern Textile Association (STA), will kick off the STRC as the Keynote Speaker with “Navigating the Forces Shaping our Industry”. The mission of the STA will be presented as well as future of the STA and the STRC going forward.
The session on Monday, May 18, will be focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it can be used to enhance our workplace and personal experiences. In addition to the presentations, there will be an interactive AI session.
On Tuesday, the presentations will focus on new sustainable and innovative wet processing technologies.
