Dr. Michael A. Drzewinski is currently the Chief Science Officer for Nufabrx (Conover, NC). As a founding member, Dr. Drzewinski has been instrumental in developing and building a novel textile delivery system for skin actives under the tradename of Health Wear. Much of Dr. Michael Drzewinski’s career has been spent developing innovative new products in the areas of consumer goods; engineering materials; and medical devices.
Previously he served as CEO and President of Textile Research Institute (Princeton), a non-profit consumer testing group.
Dr. Drzewinski spent considerable time at International Specialty Products (ISP – Now Ashland) as Sr. Vice-President and Chief Innovation Officer. He has also led successful teams while with Allied Signal/Honeywell (fibers for carpeting, airbags and ballistic armor) and Kimberly-Clark (development of non-woven, elastic fibers leading to the creation of Huggies Pullup Diapers and Depends).
Over his 35-year career, Dr. Drzewinski has authored more than 100 patents, papers, book chapters and presentations in support of several successful new product launches and has developed innovative organizational mindsets, via change management, leading to unique partnerships and results across different sectors.
As time allows, he volunteers at various US Military Veteran events and has worked with the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Additionally, he is an avid sports fan, golfer and fisherman. He has four adult children and one grandchild which are located around the country, and which feeds his love of travel.
