The Southern Textile Research Conference (STRC) is scheduled for May 17-19, 2026, with a lineup of excellent speakers. Our Keynote Speaker will be Nathan Fisher.
Nathan is a Key Account Executive with Daikin America, Inc. and a respected leader in the textile industry, bringing more than 25 years of experience spanning textile chemistry, finishing operations, laboratory analysis, and technical sales. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Textile Chemistry, Nathan has built his career from the plant floor and lab to senior commercial leadership roles.
He has held positions with Milliken & Company, Bozzetto, Nava Technologies, and now Daikin America, where he works closely with strategic customers on technical innovation, sustainability-driven material transitions, and commercial strategy across the textile value chain. Nathan currently serves as President of the Southern Textile Association, reflecting his longstanding commitment to industry collaboration, education, and advancement.
As STRC’s keynote speaker, Nathan brings a rare blend of technical depth, market
insight, and practical leadership—offering a clear, experience-based perspective on
the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of textiles.
